Acupuncture in Manchester (Didsbury) Welcome to my website.
My Qualifications and ExperienceI am a Member of the British Acupuncture Council and have been practising Acupuncture in Manchester since 1989. After qualifying in London at what was then the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, I completed a six week postgraduate course in China, in a Nanjing Hospital.
My practiceI practise 2 days a week (Monday and Thursday). Over the years I have treated a whole range of conditions such as depression, insomnia, back pain, migraine and those relating to pregnancy. A fuller list of conditions that can respond to acupuncture is shown on the 'Treatment' page.
Easily reached from North and South Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire, my acupuncture practice is based in Didsbury, Manchester.
AccessBuses from Manchester city centre pass conveniently close to my practice. Buses 41, 43 and 143 are among those passing through West Didsbury (alight at the junction of Palatine Road and Lapwing Lane). Bus 42 between Manchester and Stockport, and 142 between Manchester and East Didsbury stop at the junction of Fog Lane and Wilmslow Road. St Aldwyn's Road runs between Ballbrook Avenue and Danesmoor Road: I suggest putting my PostCode M20 3JF into Google Maps so that you can see how St Aldwyn's Road lies in relation to both Wilmslow and Palatine Roads. No.4 has a small lawn and an acer tree in the front garden.
Cost of treatmentFirst treatment: £35 for an appointment lasting one hour. Subsequent treatments: £30 for an appointment which normally lasts for 45 minutes.
